Policies

Returns:

In the event a product is ordered in error the customer must contact ecommerce returns by email or telephone 01623727819. It is the buyer’s responsibility to return the product within seven days. On the understanding that the product returns in a saleable condition at which point a credit will be issued but will not include any incurred carriage charge. Some products require specialist packaging and returns are difficult as most carrier will not collect. If you have any concerns ring ecommerce on 01623727819. we are waiting for your call.

Failures

Warranties and failures are always replaced not credited.   Caution the majority of battery failures relate to a vehicle charging fault resulting in the battery being flat or not maintained correctly.  In the unlikely event that a product fails the customer will contact the ecommerce warranty department on 01623727819.  The customer will be required to purchase a replacement item. The replacement will be sent out in a plastic container and the customer will be required to put the faulty unit in the box and then ring 01623757377 to arrange collection, once returned to CBS  and tested  if the claim is validated a credit will be raised . County Battery will reserve the right not to recover the item and issue a credit directly.

Damaged in transit (leaking)

Any product that arrives at its destination in an un-usable condition or leaking the customer must refuse delivery. If the customer is unsure, as some batteries will during delivery lose some fluid within the packaging. They must ring ecommerce on 01623727819, who will gladly help.
Once the item has been accepted by the customer and signed as delivered in good condition or delivered unsigned and left at the customer’s request. County battery reserves the right not to replace the item F.O.C.

Nationwide Delivery

County Battery Services use a nationally recognized delivery service to most UK postcodes. Our goal is to deliver all orders received before 2pm within 2 working days. However occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore cannot be guaranteed. We will endeavour to inform you if we become aware of any unexpected delay(s).

Application Guide and VRM Look up

These are a guide and although we have put in a lot of effort to get this as accurate as possible the source of the information can be unreliable, always check the result against your battery for size dimensions and layout. Especially Japanese manufactured vehicles and grey imports. If any you have any doubt contact the ecommerce department we encourage this and welcome feedback on errors. Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment and PayPal and may refuse orders from outside the UK

Please note an order is only accepted as a contract once you have received an invoice, we may send confirmation of acceptance of the order. Should a pricing, stock error exist or prices increase. County battery reserves the right to inform you of the changes and confirm whether you wish to proceed with the purchase.
